Girls!

I am So NOT use to having girls around LOL

Boys are easy, give them a stick and send them out back and they can play for hours!
They can dig with the stick, fight with the stick pretend to fish, or hunt or any other Millions of things. I know girls can do these things too! I was one of them. I can not make the boys always let Her tag along. They need time with out having to worry about if she can keep up or if she can handle what they are doing.

So after 2 movies and lots of chatter ( oh my goodness the chatter that comes out of this child!)  I finally found an old craft kit thing my MIL had giving me a couple years back. We sat down on the floor ( oh my aching back and hips!) and she made Rudolph and I made a toy solder and a wreath out of beads.  We have like 9 more things to make.

I told her tomorrow her and I will go bike riding. We will make all the boys stay home because we have to borrow, Ok commandeer their bikes so we can go for a ride. She is really looking forward to the ride together.  We have one more bike to get fixed and she can at least tag along on some of the bike rides, but until then we are short one bike.

I only have 2.5 more weeks with a girl in the house full time I think I can do this I think I can do this LOL  I love her dearly but It is just so different having a girl in the house. Give me 5 or 6 boys and It is a snap one girl is just different LOL.

She has so much more hair then my boys too, My boys keep their hair pretty much military style. She has hair to her mid back and it is naturally curly, talk about knots and rats! I just spent about 20 minutes brushing it out with spray in conditioner she says she has trouble brushing the back out. I'm going to take her in to get her hair trimmed and I think I will talk to them about what tool would be best and easiest for her to use to keep up on her hair. If she where to brush it daily it would not get so bad and I'm sure if she had the right stuff to do it, it would be easer for her to do.

Now if I can just keep finding things for her to do.  Normally the People across the street have their granddaughters over during the week but so far not this week. I keep hopping they will come spend the day and she can get to know them and have some play mates here on the street.  They are all about the same age.

I do have to say when her and her brother go back home it is going to be weird going back to only 2 kids

Ok I am done whining about being out of my comfort zone.

I hope you all have a wondeful day!

Man I don't think I could do it. I keep my neices some and it is hard. They are still little and they get into everything. So mostly I only keep them if I can keep them outside. In the pool or hammock.

Man they are so much like my sis was.
    Wild, fit throwing, screaming banshees.
    But man I love them.
And they learned I do not allow temper tantrums. So now they are over very fast. When I refuse to let them stay it breaks their little hearts. So when I do they are so fun. For a little while anyways. One day they will be grown and I hope to be their favorite aunt still. Well good luck and have fun
