Traveling!

So dave purchased a boat friday! ONly catch it was 400 miles away from our home.  ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!!!!

Now keep in mind we just drove 400 miles home the sunday before, I still have not fully unpacked from that trip! We where camping for a full week!

So we are on the road by 7 pm, We go down to my dads house ( they are out of town LOL) and use his house as our over night hotel. then we travle another 100+ miles from dads house to the boat.

Even though it was a long trip, we where home at 7 pm the next day! I was able to get some awesome Shots of the sunset on the way down.

On the way back, I also go some neat shots.

This the birdge down by where we got the boat, I loved the lines of the arches.

On Highway 38 there is a spot that the Elk have taken over, They built a viewing area and evertyhing. We stopped but no Elk to be seen, then a little bit down the road we found them haning out in the shade of some trees.
This is a young buck watching me watch him.

Sunday we spent the day at moms. Dave worked on her computer and me and the boys hung out with her and watched movies.

I took new pictures of the puppy but I will wait to post them tell I have given her , her copys LOL

A road trip is always good for photo opportunities. These are lovely. I really like the repeated patterns in the bridge.

Sweet boat and SWEETER truck!!! I could use a bad boy like that to drive the hydro-line into the interior lakes I visit every year. Great shots!

They say the best two days of a boat owners life is the day they get it and the day they sale it. But as for me I like my boat. Enjoy! Just have a good time and don't forget the sunscreen.
