Life around here

Not a whole lot going on. My ears are still all messed up! Even at a very high does of antibiotics! So guess who gets to go back to the doctor on Monday!  I'm so sick of not hearing what my family says to me, and hearing everything EXTRA loud in side my head!  even eating a sandwich can be deafening. The sound of the shower on my head is so annoying it is not even funny!!!!!!!!!

We are all playing hooky from life today and going boating.  Should be fun, we are going to explore somewhere new! ( yes mother I will e-mail you the details before we leave!

Only a month to get the kids ready for school! OY! I just started buying school clothes this payday!  Then at orientation for Jesse, we have to pay for the student ID card, the activity sticker to get him in to after school actives! it is much cheaper to buy the card then pay for each thing individually, then you have to pay for the year book, OH and pictures are that day too! Oh and any class fee you may have blah blah blah! uggggg. SO much for free education! I should just be thankful our school district doesn't have as many money issues as some!

I think next payday I will start in on school supplies, But not to many tell i get the HIgh school list. I'm sure things will be a bit different for them.

Ok know that I have rambled on and on

On to, today's Photo.
I took this a few days ago shortly after Dave watered the yard. Hope you enjoy.

I really wish you the best. Do you have time to come and take a family photo for me? We really need a new one and the people around here are so dumb. We have left twice. I will not pay that for crappy photos.
    Enjoy your day.

    Hi, Doris!

Yes, I did drop off the face of the earth for a while. Busy, busy summer! Nice to see comments from you on my blog (but did you leave Spaces??).

Your photos are inspiring me to pick up my camera again. I've finally earned enough on Shutterstock they're going to send me a check - that's also inspiring me to shoot more.

Hope you're having a great summer!

I said it before and I will say it again, but what an awesome photo you take!

For the boys I just spent over $400 last week on school clothes and $50 in supplies. The bigger they are the more they cost. The older they are in school the more the fees cost too. Ours doesn't mandate that we buy the yearbook upfront but if you don't they jack up the price at the end of the year.

And when I received my property tax notice, most of it goes to the school district anyway, so why do they call it free schooling? Hah! I guess it's better than paying for private which is probably five times as much.

    Jake's fees altogether are $146
Michael's this year are $164 (better than the year he was in drivers ed though, then they were like $240) I think I will not get him the activity card though, he doesn't want to ever go to that stuff so why should I pay the $30 for it? And why do the make it manditory and have you go through so much red tape to get it waived? ARGH! It's our choice!
