Day at the Beach
Yesterday we packed up and went to the beach for the day! Now Oregon is not like Cali or Florida. Our beach can be bright and sunny, but the temps usually top out in the mid 50's to mid 60's depending on where you are, and the water is ICE cold! Durning the summer once in a great while the temps get in the upper 80's.
So yeasterday was one of the mid to upper 60's days. But lots of sun shine! Dave who NEVER takes his shoes off, took his shoes off LOL the top of his white feet got burnt LOL Me who wears pants most of the time now have nice red shins LOL. Zach got a bit red under the eyes and the ears ( bad auntie forgetting the ears with the sun screen!)
With the cool temps you don't always notice just how harsh the sun can be. OH and it dosn't help that the wind is almost always blowing so you have sand rash too LOL You know sand paper bing rubbed on you all day LOL
But being true Oregonians we are use to this harsh beach climate here and still enjoying going and spending the day.
Here is the first instalment of photo's you will get this week from our trip to the beach.

I so wish we had a beach near by! And not one of the icky Utah lake that is trashed!
