I married the Mostest Bestest man in the world! ( yes I know this is not proper English! get over it!  )

Today is ( the 7th) is our 15th anniversary of our first date!

Our first date was a blind date. Yes neither of us really wanted to do this. We both eventually said yes to our mutual friend because well honestly we really wanted to just shut her up and get on with our lives LOL.

Any way Guess what ?? Like you can't guess huh ? hehehhe. We hit it off BIG time.  We have pretty much been together every day but maybe 10 since that first night!

Today I was surprised with a wonderful Date! Dave planed for the kids to go off with friends for the evening. Then he took me to a dinner theater. It was so cooL! BIG blush chairs that reclined, foot stools to put your feet on.  Waiters coming to you and taking your orders!  OH and it was 21 and over, so no kids Not that I mind kids but you know it was nice to have a truly adult evening!  we watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2.

After Dinner and Movie  we walked out to the truck got in, and he says do you trust my driving enough to wear a blind fold ( he knows i have issues with is driving!)  I said sure honey I close my eyes a lot when you drive! HAHHAHA.  So I put the blind fold on, and thought about where or what we could be going to.

All sorts of things went through my head I was thinking about the different view points around town, or possibly a hotel room.  and so on.  Finally we stopped and he told me to take my blind fold off.  It took a few moments for my eyes to focus. I noticed we are in a neighborhood with houses everywhere. I blurt out Where the Hell are we? LOL  Then it hit me like a ton of bricks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We where parked in front of the house we met at. The house I lived in at the time was right across the street.   He had me get out of the car and we walked hand in hand down to the local pond, the same walk we took the night we met. 

My husband has always planed wonderful things for us on our dates, but I truly think this is the first time he made me cry. I have always know Dave was a romantic. but this was the MOST romantic thing he has ever done.  This tops everything, and he has done some amazing things in our 15 years together!

I thank my lucky stars every day for this man! And My friend ( may she rest in peace) for bugging us tell we finally said yes!

!5 years later, both sporting a few more pounds then back then LOL
