For Otto

I was telling Otto about my Giant sunflower plants. He said he had never seen them as tall as I was describing. So I took a couple snap shots this evening. Nothing fancy just for illustration purposes. I am going to dig out a latter and take some of the flower heads eventually LOL

When I planted these I was thinking about shading my sons room from the sun, I never thought about how tall they would get, Next year we will plant them out farther from the house LOL  I think we will also plant some infront of the living room window. My house faces South so we get full sun most of the day!

Wow. It's kind of hard to enjoy sunflowers when they are that tall. I really had no idea that they could be like that. Thanks for the pictures of them.

Once the heads get big, they will bend over so they are facing the ground so you get a worms eye view of them so you still get to enjoy them! and when they are done being beautiful I will make home made sunflower seeds out of them!

Well I got caught up. I love sunflowers. The brat mowed mine down. " I thought it was weeds"
I got a citation once for planting them too close to the road.

You are so lucky to have your hubby. Mine can't remember when or where we met. But he never forgets my B-Day or our Anniversary so I have to be glad for that. Love the beach photos.
