Milestones
Kids have milestones all their lives. When they are little they are things like rolling over, sitting up, crawling and so on. As they grow a bit it becomes things like Learning numbers, letters, words, colors and so on. Then when they reach school they learn to do all sorts of things, reading, writing, math and so on.
As a Pre teen, they have milestones of things like puberty, voice changing, hair growing in places they rather not talk about! shaving ,getting their own house key and so on.
We have always celebrated our children's Milestones. When Jesse first learned to shave the WHOLE family was in the bathroom with him! Dad was explaining how to shave, what to do and such, I was taking pictures! and his little brother looked on in awwww awaiting the day he could start to shave ( although now he is avoiding it LOL)
When Levi shaves for the first time It will be the same only His older brother will be in there laughing about what a chore it will become! LOL
So You all know that Jesse starts high school this year. Well He has already been invited for his first semi formal dance, yet another Milestone. Now a days we call them rights of passage though. I think that started with the shaving! So any way He need a suit!
You all also know that My mom and I have a birthday tradition of shopping with each other on our birthdays. Well we took Jesse out first to get his suit! Luckily My mother loves to be there for the rights of passage for my boys.
We got so lucky, the time of day we went the suit department was virtually empty! we had the only sales associate to our selves! He helped us pick the suit down to the socks! Jesse got to have the special treatment for the experience!
It was so much fun! Going through all the different suits, finding the ones that appealed most to him. Finding the right tie and shoes!
Mom got him his tie and tie clip!
We got so lucky too! most of the suits where on sale for 30 to 75% off! It is just a tad loose so he will have some grow room too! He will get lots of use out of it I'm sure! He is quite Popular with the girls LOL
The Next big right of passage will be the Tuxedo! Or the drivers permit depending on when their first formal of the year is!
Here is My first born in his Brand spanking new suite!!!!!! I so can't wait tell It is Levi's turn!

Oh, he looks so handsome! I don't doubt that he is quite popular with the girls. There will be many a broken hearts out there when he can only choose one to attend the dances with. (Remind him, he can only choose ONE.) I must share these images with my daughters. I want them to see what a handsome gentleman looks like.
