Weeds!

I get some of the most awesome weeds in my yard!  I mean besides the normal dandy lions, daisy's and thistle's!

I got some black eyed Susan's this year. Never planted any of those! but about 2 miles down the road I house has hundreds of them! I'm guessing the local bird population helps plant my flower garden LOL.

Anyway one of my weeds is a vining plant, it is annoy as all get out, and I can not seem to keep it contained or kill it LOL So I'm trying to work with it! heheheeh But I have to say, it makes some of the prettiest little purple flowers!

Over the Summer I did some experimenting with focus and aperture. I found I could make some really cool images!

Here is one of those images, of this purple flower on the vine from Hell!

Yes there is some jpeg artifacts in there, but the glow is from the camera settings

Have a great day everyone!

Live and learn...but when you drag others into it....gotta mind yer manners cause I don't sit too well with being pointed fingers at for things that don't involve me...lol. Now she knows...

Hopefully everyone is well by Monday...even today they are probably all fine and dandy.

the purple flower is really neat. My question is whether or not the plant also has little berries, black or deeeeep purple. If it does, this is called deadly nightshade and you DO NOT want the kids to eat the berries.

Thanks For the Info! I'm pretty sure they are red berries, but I will go look again.

I never let the kids play with things I don't know about or and unsure about.  Infact if they eat anything in the back yard I pick it first Zoie likes to eat the fresh Pear tomato's off the vine with me LOL

I just double checked mine and you are right, some of the berries are also red. I was never sucessful ingetting rid of the things, so I always pulled the berries when the kids (Scott & Tina) were little. Looks like I will be doing it again for Ava.
