Fall as in Fallen leaves
I was at Levi's track meet yesterday. It starts at 5 pm but Levi does not run until almost 6:30. They run the 6th graders first, doing all girls then all boys, then the 7th and 8 th grade girls then the 7th and 8th grade boys. So any way we have plenty of free time. not to mention with a 1 mile track it takes a while for them to come by in between the 2 times they circle it.
So any why we where sitting behind a chain link fence. dave in fact was holding this particular section up with his foot so it would not be laying over in the kids path.
wet leaves at some point had fallen on the fence, then dried. It made for some neat looking effects. So the next few post will be leaves hanging from the fence.

Cool shot. So instead of watching the kids, you were photographing leaves.
I'm having some problems with my email right now. In response your comment on my post today, I think the background you were talking about is maybe where the blurred barbed wird fence, the cow's horn and the background all meet. Just a guess.

Quite nice! I love how it's hooked on there, refusing to let go.

Yeah, Like it is holding on for its last chance not to decay on the ground like the other Leaves!

Great way to kill the time, Doris. I was shooting fruit loops while waiting for my daughter at the orthodontist's. Anyway, love the curl of this leaf! It's got a good hold of that fence.

Powerful in its simplicity.. this is a great macro shot. Loved the composition too... frail leaf clinging to the steel strength of the fence... nice
