Birds
The other day my husband was out side and he called me in the house on my cell. He says get out here!
I came out and he has me look at this tree over the roof of my house, it is about 2 blocks or so away. He says " do you see that tree?" I said "umm yeah" He goes on to say " do you hear that?" WHen I stopped talking ( I know hard to believe for those that know me LOL) You could hear 100's of birds all chirping! then it hit me all the leaves on that tree where birds!
If you look you can see the branches bending over from the weight of the birds. My husband was explaining to me that they were all up right tell the flock landed.
I'm guessing they where looking for an over night roosting area, since it was getting close to dusk.

Wow, those are birds. I didn't read your text at first and thought that there were leaves, too. Now I can see it. Cool.

Wow Doris, that's pretty wild!! Can you imagine the fright if you accidentally came upon them during the night and startled them all awake?

What birds were they? My bet would be waxwings.
