Snow, Snow and more snow

Ok now when reading this please keep in mind, I live in a place that if we see snow it is maybe 1/2 at most. Maybe once every 5 or more years we get any real accumilation of snow.  So the people of my area never really get to practice driving on it. OK really they are just all a bunch of idiots that think they know it all! ugggg.

So we got a snow storm yeasterday.  The news was a blast to watch, It was a ton of fun driving around town! We have a few errands that needed to be done bad weather or not. We never slid once.  but then again we have off road tires, and big truck and 300lb tree trunk in our truck LOL we keep chains under the seats at all times just incase! ( we are not one of those just because we have a 4x4 we can do anything people we are always prepaired.)

So any way, most of the people out there where on bald unchained tires. Talk about nuts!  Then the people wtih chains and cables on, they were so loose they were slidding all over heck and gone on their chains. OY!

Here are a few photo's of our day.

My 15 year old loves to make snow angles

While out getting my oldest from school ( we have a snow day traditon we keep the kids home even if the school dosn't close and hubby stays home at least one day and we have fun)
any way this jerk I swear was about to touch my  hitch! If he slid one tiny bit he would have been under my truck. UMM Hello we need to leave a little more room LOL

My dragon fly

Stay tuned for tomorrow's photo's of more idiot drivers, some not so lucky! some luck must have been siting on their shoulders.

Have grown up and lived in NE Ohio, and learning to drive in the middle of winter, I always have a good laugh when it snows down here and the whole world stops spinning except for the drivers on the road. Admittedly, I don't go out much during that weather now. It's been 12 years since we moved, along time since I've driven on snow; and most of the time the roads aren't cleared for safe driving anyway. It's just not in the county's budget.
