We dropped the boys off at the Sheriff's office Friday night so they could go up to the Mountains with the Explorer post and learn how to survive in the snow.  They dug snow caves and actually slept in them. I guess some of them where pretty big! like a full room size.  They also got to go inner tubing , and Hiking. While Hiking they learned to do a controlled slide So if the incline is ever to step to walk down they can slid down it with out loosing control ( in the snow any way LOL)


Saturday we slept in a bit, then got busy with washing the truck, We had a Truck Club get together. We headed out to to the Rod and Custom show at the Expo. We hung out there for a while then decided to go get some dinner. We headed over to Bj's Pizza.  a 2 hour wait for our party of 12. Hmm no good when everyone is staving.
I suggest Denny's across the parking lot, but that got vetoed LOL

So we Decide to head out to St. Johns for dinner and a restaurant called Our Daily Bread.

Well the guy in second place of our convoy missed that the first guy took an exit on the free way LOL So we get off ( we are taking up the last position) and spend about 20 minutes driving around North Portland LOL we loose half the guys in the group. Then we find the leader, and as we do that we come across the other half of the group we lost LOL. So know the whole group is back together minus one that took a diffrent rout and found the restaurant and goes in to tell them we have a large group coming.


We get there and we can see them setting up for us. Their EYES got huge as truck after truck pulled in to the parking lot LOL It just looked like more then there really was LOL

This restaurant was very empty compared to the ones near the car show.  The room they put us in was just  tad small for the group so they had to move us to the main dinning room. Luckily we got a waitress with a great personality so she was not at all put off by our loud load laughter! we all love to laugh! 

 
After dinner we all went our own ways.
Dave and I went to the video store and bought a ton of previously viewed DVD's. Got to love getting them cheap! Then we ran to Safeways for some snack food LOL we went home and watched movies and pigged out hehehhe.

Sunday we just had a catch up on our rest day.

Monday every one had the day off.  Dave worked on the bronco and I worked on the camp trailer. We kind of inherited a camp trailer and well it has been sitting under some trees for about 15 or so years. It had moss growing on it LOL So I got up on a ladder and scrapped it all off then scrubbed the grime ( still got a bunch of that left to do !)

then I went in side and cleaned out all  the canned food that was stored in it.  I toss things that had expired in 1995 and a few things so old they had no dates on them LOL OMG i picked up a can of vegetable soup and the went thunk thunk when i shook it LOL soup should not thunk lol

Over the next couple days I will put up some of the car photo's I took. right now my computer is complaining about being to hot to work (lap top on my lap LOL)  the edit programs so i will let it cool and try again.

Off to waist a few hours tell Jesse is ready to be picked up from his ride along.
