We got up at 5 and where ready to go by 6.

We are headed to Haugan MT.  for breakfast at the Silver dollar Restaurant/casino/GIANT gift shop.

We are learning that the GPS not always the best choice to fallow LOL we really should have gone back the way we came in and hit the HW there! LOL Ok I’m sure Dave wished that but the short cut it took us LOL I use that term loosely  It took us longer to go this way even though it was shorter because it pretty much was a paved logging road over the top of a mountain LOL Lots of curvy switch backs and BIG drop offs!!! It was a beautiful drive and scary at points! LOL
 
A baby moose jumped out in front of us luckily we were going slow enough he was in no danger from us. The look on his face was what the Heck are you?????? Heheheheh   I didn't get any pictures at 6 am my brain is not working yet. By the time I got my camera out he had jumped in to the brush.



So we finish our trip to breakfast.  Now the reason we are stopping at this place is Dave remembers stopping here as a child when his family traveled to Montana to visit relatives.  Not only do the cook food sell booze, sell gifts, and have gambling, they also have a hotel, and free camp ground!.If I had known it was free I would have stopped here on the way to Yellowstone LOL Oh well we know now!  We had breakfast. Typical Truck stop food, LARGE Portions and taste good! After breakfast we had to spend an hour or 2 walking threw the gift shop. Well and you know when you spend that much time in a gift shop you will always spend money LOL.

While out side and getting stuff put a way to get back on the road We had a little audience.

This is from one of the trails splitting off the main trail head out of out campground.
The Sunlight cliff in the back ground is called Red Cliff. Remember that name It will be important toward the end of our stay!

Just so you all know we are leaving again Tomorrow for our favorite spot on the coast, won't be home tell Monday. So I won't be updating again tell Tuesday i'm sure.
