We headed down to Yellowstone. Little did we know that Strugis was in full swing the same time we chose to go. I think there where to many bikes for South Dakota to hold and they over flowed in to Yellowstone LOL

It was cool though, lots of bike ranging from just every day cruisers to Full dressed tour bikes, to crotch rockets to custom made toys like you find at Orange County Choppers.

I was expecting to see more wild animals. I know we didn't do any back county hiking but  still expect to see more. I know they have changed things so people are not suppose to feed the wild animals and such so they less issues. but I really wanted to see a bear walk in front of my car LOL

The first day we saw 1 mule deer, 3 elk and 2 Ravens LOL I had just seen these types of animals on the trip before this one LOL  There was plenty of proof of animals well Buffalo's to be exact LOL they seem to gather around the warm springs lol.I even included a photo to prove there are animals in the park LOL

I did have to chuckle at all the city dwellers that never venture out side  the city. Every time there was an Elk on the side of the road about 20 to 30 cars would back up the rest of the traffic so they all could run out and get a photo of it. I guess I take for granted my family likes to get out in the Woods, and travel to places we can see these things on a regular basis. So even though it is still exciting for us to see Elk, and Deer we don't feel a need to stop and block traffic to take photo's of them ever time we see one LOL. 

We hit every gift shop in the place LOL One of them had Pendleton round  up Clothing! LOL hello I could have drove only 3 hours to get such clothing at the actual event LOL Not sure why they had that in a YS gift shop lol

Poor Dave, he so wanted to take us to the Painted pots, he had such fond memories of them as a child. They were not like they were when he was a kid, they use to be diffrent colors. But while we where there they were just all grey bubbling mud.

Oh well at least the water features where colorful and pretty!
