Day at the River with the Club

When had a GTG with the Truck cub Oh that is right I forgot we are a "Ford" club. It is hard after so many years to remember it is not just a truck club any more. But that is ok, we are at a great place on the net now! www.virtualford.org

We
get there and we are last in line, every one is turning a 180 so they could back up to where we are going to set up. My husband pulled to far down the beach and gets stuck!!!!!  He tries backing down to the water line where it is a bit more compact and get a running start, that didn't work as the front tires where still in soft sand.

He finally gets it turned side ways to the water and is able to back way down the beach and get a good run at the hill so when He hit the soft sand he was able to basically float over the dry soft sand and make it back up to the parking area LOL

Now that everyone is parked together it was time to start in with the Chatting, and for dave and our friend Randy to get their poles in the water! They were fishing for Sturgeon but only the guy down the way from us caught anything LOL

If you grew up in the 80's you rember Tim Conway's character Dorf ?? this was Dorf on Fishing LOL

After Lunch we did more chatting and then we built a fire as the sun had gone behind the tree's so it got a bit cool.

We sat around BS'ing watching the guys fish and watching the ships pass. I tell you nothing like a Ocean going ship to make you feel small!!!!!!!!!!!

This has to be the most colorful ship I have ever seen!

There were a few moments with these 2 that we all got a bit antsy LOL But you can see all came out ok! LOL

We put the fire out and went out and went home when it got dark. I think if the park didn't close at dusk we would have been there laughing half the night!
