Time for a bit of a change.
I was ready for a change on the blog. I went with a western theme for several reasons.
1) I live in the west LOL
2) I'm going threw a find my country side thing. I was born in a small town and live in a big city. I miss the small town side.
3) I liked the colors! LOL they went very well with my buffalo photo LOL
4) Julie and Marshall did it I had to fallow along LOL
I don't change my blog around as much as I use to but I still like to change it up once in a while! If you can not see the changes or not all of them hold down your shift key while you click on the refresh link on your browser that will clear your cache and load the page from the site.
Yesterday in the mail I got a notice from People to People that Levi has been nominated by someone to be a student ambassador and if accepted ( he has to go threw and application processes). He will get to travel to Australia and New Zealand next summer. I could not offer that type of opportunity to my children! He was supper excited about it when I told him! I wish it told us who nominated him. I would love to thank them!
Levi as smart as he is ( sometimes to smart for his own good!) he has an issue with actually doing his work and turning it in. We have been battling this since he was 5! every year we have the same talk about getting it done and turned in blah blah blah. In one ear out the other. Every year he ends up getting punished for not doing his work. The sad part is he could be pulling straight A's. He has all these plans and wants to go to Officers training in the Navy, they are not going to take him if his grades are bad, I tell him that, and they don't care why. They will just look at the results.
So I told him if he really wants to do this Student ambassador thing he will have to keep his grades up( and no computer) . Lets hope this will be enough motivation for him to keep up on it! I'm so tired of getting to know his teachers so well because we have to communicate to keep him on task( I love to get to know the teachers just not this way!) GRRRRRRRRrr I swear this one is going to make me bald from pulling my hair out! Love the kids but he can really drive me to the end of my rope!

Love the change! Isn't it fun to change up the design? (of course, I don't know how to do it myself, so I had to pay someone)
