Another Trip to the ER!
For one of our 4 legged kids!
Valentine has not been urinating as much as she should. Then today I noticed what little bit she did get out was tinting the litter a pinkish color. So I called and got her an appointment at our Vets office. Thank goodness they are an emergency clinic too!
After having her urine drawn, No catheter for her they stick a needle in her abdomen and draw it off that way. poor thing! Then a couple X-rays. They determined she has a crystal in her bladder and a UTI. I guess it is not common for a female cat to have the UTI. So after a bundle of money, and a very Large bag of special cat food oh and don't forget the antibiotics! LOL We are home!
We get to put all the cats on the same food. Thank goodness for that it would have been a pain to try and feed her one thing and the others something else. This food I guess is high in salt content which makes the cats drink more so they can flush thier systems better. They are hopping this will help get rid of this cyrstal. We take her back in a month, if the crystal has not desolved they will have to do surgery. OY! keep your fingers crossed we don't have to go that rout. I might have to hock one of the boys to pay for it! LOL
Boy she was not happy with the vet and vet tech working on her! She bit the Vet while he was tyring to just look her over! LOL Hard to beleive she is my lover! LOL she loves to get attetion from any one coming over LOL but not at the doctors office i guess LOL
Ok off to bed to get some rest! I have the little ones one last night! and between Dave snoring to my left and Zoie snoring to my right I don't get lots of sleep! LOL

I hope your kitty gets better soon! And that's fantastic you get to feed them all the same kind of food. It's such a pain to feed them differently. I can't wait until our kittens are a year old so they can eat the same food as the other cats!

Poor kitty! Yet she's fortunate to have a great owner who takes good care of her...
