WOW it has been a year
WOW I know it has been a rough year for my family but i'm shocked it has been a year since I blogged.
I guess I should start with my first post in a year with some photo's 
Dave went fishing today and I hung out with him and wandered around shooting the little fluffy things in the water.
This was my favorite thing of the day. He/she was beautiful! It just floated there while I took my photo's just watching me but not bothering to uncurl.
We know kids have toys boxes but today I was thinking about all the toy errr Tool boxes men have LOL this being one of them.
This guy plopped right on down 10 feet from me.. He didn't seem one bit worried about Dave and I. He let me get with in 5 feet of him while taking photo's. I got one of him flying away but it is out of focus 
Ok I won't give you all the photo's today gotta have something to post later.
gotta have something to post later. I'm so not happy with the new design of the blog I will have to play with it a bit more or change it altogether LOL

EDIT: I totally over hauled the design after posting this LOL Ok ok I chose a new template and then customized it LOL not done but already love it 100% more
nice bird captures and you're right about the tool (toy) boxes that men can have. my dad had a bunch. (nice to see you back.)

Thanks Otto! It felt great to have my camera back in my hand! Now if the weather out here in the PNW would work in my favor on days i have time, it would be even better LOL

Nice close up photo of the duck. Pretty amazing she remained calmed at such close range almost as if she had been waiting for a pic all along
