I know it i has been a while! But life has been a bit  busy for me, and well when I'm not busy I just tend to veg! But I'm here now, I won't make any promises to blog on a regular basis as my life is still pretty busy!



So the Tree's are blooming and the bulbs growing.

 
It was so nice yesterday! The sun was out and we got sun burnt! LOL 
We went to our first car show of the season. we made it a VFO Get together.



By the end o the day we had a bunch of trucks and 1 mustang there.


We won the club participation award WOOHOOO! we beat out the Corvette club with a coin toss! LOL we both had the same number of registered vehicles registered for the show.  IF that silver ranger in the front their had made it on time we would have won it out right ! LOL but either way we won and got to bring the award  home!

So some of you have been asking for beter photo's of Jesse shooting.

So to start off with, Levi has decided not to do the Student ambassador thing. His lazy side is showing LOL it would be to much work to do all the fundraising!  I am a bit disappointed, but I always realize that if it was something that really really mattered to him he would work his butt of for it! He is one of those that if it is important he will work him self to death, if not he just dosn't do anything.


So life goes on.

Last week was pretty normal, I spent time up at the school, did wrestling stuff, shooting club stuff.  Friday Madge came out and we went to Every Husbands Nightmare it is a holiday craft bazaar got to love the name! LOL I got some Christmas shopping done there. Saturday Shannon and I got up and Left PDX area by 7:30 to head to my moms house. We walked up to the club house and attended yet another craft bazaar LOL never to many this time of year! LOL I got some really great ideas for things from both, I also got some more Christmas present at this one. I was careful not to buy anything I could make! LOL

Today We slept in. WOOHOOO! got to love sleeping in!  Then we watch some of our shows in bed, I love doing that. Just laying around and cuddling!  no one else in the room well if you don't count the cats! It is just a nice time to relax with my honey!

After we finally rolled out of bed, we got up and We went and got dave some new boots. He other ones where getting bad!! the sole was pulling around from the boot, they where no longer water proof. The tread had never been very good but after 4 years or so there was none left. Poor dave Fell as he was getting out of the boat at the dock yesterday. He bruised his thigh and scrapped and bruised his knee.  I know he hurts he asked me to drive! LOL he likes to drive.  I guess to kids fishing from the dock saw it but where nice enough not to laugh at him and asked if he was ok!  I'm sure they snickered when they turned their backs,as I out and out laughed  at him when he told me over the phone!  I can do this and not feel bad as i'm the one that usually gets hurt from falling or standing up and hitting my head on something when we our out doing things LOL

Then I headed out to the camp trailer and cleaned the fridge! It was stained from me leaving food in it one time after we got home. I so thought i got it all nope, about 3 weeks later we went to go camping and i was putting stuff out there and opened the fridge EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW LOL



I ran Jesse and Tina up to the mall and on the way home stopped and finished up shopping for my sister. She and My mother in law are done!  Now i need to get dave and the boys something. NO idea yet what to get them and finish up my mom and step mom. Oh and figure out my dad he is so hard to shop for!  if he wants it or needs it he gets it! At least with Beth she collects things! LOL


This week is going to go fast! I will be working at the school during the day Monday and Tuesday, then Practice Tuesday after school. then Wednesday evening we leave for camping. Thursday we go to moms for Thanksgiving, then back out to the camp ground for the rest of the weekend!

So if you don't see me for this week you know why! LOL

So Friday my friend Katie called and asked me if I would go to Washington park Saturday to take engagement photo's of her and Derek. I said sure.

We end up at the Japanese gardens, we spend a couple hours in there.  We come back out I down load my photo's to my lap top then show them the photo's so they can choose some they like.  Then we decided to just run to the store and get a flash drive for me to dump them on so they can print them out and look at them.

I go to get in the passenger side of my truck and get irritated, it looks like the chrome cover is peeling off.  so i start hitting it back in to place and hen realize it was not the chrome piece it was the whole door Handel that had been pulled out! I look closer and see the lock part itself is messed up from where a screwdriver had been pushed in it! UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG  So dave gets in the truck and starts looking around and discovers our GPS is gone!  Totally our fault. we never leave the GPS in plane view. But this one time we both spaced it off.

When we got there I told Dave I'm going to ask Derek if I could put my laptop in his truck as we have one door that doesn't lock right.  You know the funny thing is dave and i both have left our laptops in the truck since that door broke but this one time I just was not comfortable.  Can you say premonitions? 

But Derek and Katie where very happy with the photo's LOL that was good! 


Then we headed home to get Levi and head off the the People to People information night for the student Ambassador program. It is such an awesome program, but we where hit with Sticker shock!  We have to give a $400 deposit with the application. Then We have to pay the remaining $6999 before they leave. They gave us a website on fund raising. My biggest worry is what If we don't get the funds in time for each payment!

That $6999 includes all food, transportation and lodging. He can earn social studies credit in High School and in College. They get to do behind the scenes stuff. like they will go to the Sydney Opera house they get to go back stage and can even sing on stage if they want. Not in the average tour. They get to learn about New Zealand history first hand from the Native and Councilmen. 


So if any one wants to donate to The Cause I except pay-pal! LOL


Today Mom and I headed over to a coworkers house for a holiday Bazaar His wife makes some really beautiful things.  Then I came home and dave put stepping stones so our truck won't sink in to my wet grass LOL

Then we moved wood from the back yard to the side of the house so we can get out wood pile built up before the really cold weather hits.


Ok off to switch laundre! the bright spot in my day! NOT!!!!!!

I just love Jesse's Girl Friend! I call her my someday-daughter-in-law  She texted me last night telling me what she and her parents where getting Jesse for Christmas and to ask me some idea.  So she gets it all picked out and asks me not to tell Jesse. I agree, I told her it may kill me but I would not tell him!
See I have an issue with waiting to give presents! LOL  but I would not ruin this for her.

So she Texts me this am and tells me she caved and told him! LOL oh I had to laugh that is so me! Then she tired to get out of me what he was going to get her for Christmas.  Oh I'm being such a good girl! LOL and it is driving her up the wall hehehehehhehe She has just over a month to wait it won't hurt to bad LOL


Jesse has his first shooting competition Dec. 6th.  He has gotten all his levels in prone so he started on sitting postion, but the shooting comp is a 3 postion comp so they coaches will be running him threw kneeling and standing also. he won't get lot of practice in before but at least he will have some practice in the other positions.  He really is doing really well! They had a little inter class competition last week, just to get the kids ready for shooting matches.  Jesse won over kids that have been shooting for 3 years. So he got First Thursday of the month bragging rights LOL


Levi left this morning for Outdoor school again, this is his 4th trip this fall. He so enjoys it! On of the head guys called him and asked him to go one more time becuase they were short boy councilors.  He is headed to the coast this time, this is a camp he has never been too. So he is excited to be somewhere new.


Guess I better get a start on my day LOL  I have so much to do and so little motivation to use LOL

Jesse goes out to work on his back, and a few minutes later he comes in, 

Jesse: What are you doing Mom?

Me: Umm not much why? 

Jesse: I'm going to teach you to ride a bike!!

Me: Umm I know how to ride a bike!

Jesse: I have never seen you ride one well in a few years an way 

Me: Umm I have pictures of me riding with you!

Jesse: I don't remember

Me: You want me to prove it?

Jesse: Yeah we  could ride to Safeways and get cheese  ( poor kid had to have a sandwich without cheese this am LOL remember he is almost 17 LOL)

Me:  I can do that!

At this point I dont think he really thought I was serious LOL

I asked if there were bike lanes all the way and he said yes. and away we went! LOL

Ok I proved I could ride a bike, but I also proved it had been a while! LOL every time I went to take off i went to the left or the right instead of straight LOL

Boy I didn't realize just how out of shape my thighs where LOL 

I'm sure I looked really cute with my white helmet with pink flowers on it, and my baby blue jacket! LOL huffing and puffing my way down the road!

But I made it there and Back and lived to tell the tale!


I said to Jesse I bet that was like a warm up for you? he said Nope not even close LOL  This is the kid that can do 25 to 30 miles a day with out breaking a sweat well ok when it is hot out he does LOL

Ok i'm going to go take a nap now so I can get some of my strength back! LOL  Ok not really I need to scrube the bath room and pick up the house  LOL

So last night was our official start of our wrestling season!  It was a mad house of Chaos but we made it threw! LOL

Levi is coaching again this year. He so enjoying being able to work with the kids. He is off to yet another week of out door school next week. He is so in his element when he is teaching!

This year looks to be a bit lighter on the schedule ( knock on wood) I so love this but I could use a lighter season

So far the team is a bit smaller then last year. We have about 31 kids that have turned in paper work, but we will be closing it at 50. At one point we have 63 last year. We have the largest middle school mat club in our district.  we usually  have to end up wrestling our guys against each other LOL


I'm excited, this year we are getting them shirt and shorts instead of shirt and sweatshirt LOL so they will all have a uniform to wear over the singlet we loan them. They will look like the higher priced clubs WOOHOOO!


So I may or may not blog a bit less during the season! LOL all depends on how tired I am LOL

Jesse and his gal are on their way home with pumpkins to carve while they watch scary movies! Should be fun, Hope no one jumps then cuts the selves! LOL  Then this evening when it gets dark we will head out to a haunted Corn Maze  It was fun last year! we had a group of jumpy girls with 1 guy LOL it made for lots of laughs and lots of screaming LOL

Shanna and my family's  headed to the coast for the weekend to our favorite camp ground. We spend most of our play time along the Columbia River though.  We rode the Trolley that goes from one end of town to the other and Then watched the Seals sunning them selves and having fights over space!  Then we went to a very cool play ground and played with the little ones for a while!
