Oops I didn't mean to do that!

I could give you a great story about what happen,

Like We where racing threw the woods to help a stuck friend and bolder rolled in to my truck. No No that's not right.

How about David was putting the boat in the water and hit the boardwalk? No No that's not it either!

The boys where playing basket ball and one of them ( or 2) fell in to the side of my truck? Nope that doesn't work either.

Unfortunately it is not so exciting! It all came about by me trying to be a good neighbor LOL and having a total blond moment!

The Neighbors are having a family reunion thing. They have relatives coming in from all over in different types of vehicles.

Well motor home came in to the coul-de-sac, and my truck was sticking out of the drive way a bit. So instead of making the poor guy back up and such I told him I would just move my truck.

He was very grateful. I jump in my truck, and while watching the motor home so as not to hit it I hear THUD look out and my mirror has pushed in, NO problem they are made to collapse like that when you get to close. Then this other Horrible noise starts! I KNEW at that moment what was happening and I made the choice to finish moving forward. Wrong move, but you know hind site is 20/20 LOL I turned to sharp to the right and scrapped along a 4x4 post that had been put in the ground for a basket ball hoop years ago. the hoop has been gone since before we moved.

I get out walk around my truck and OUCH most of the passenger side is messed up! $3500 worth of messed up!

Luckily I have good insurance and have been with them for 19 years and this is our first claim! My deductible is only $250 so it won't hurt to much.

The poor guy I was moving for felt awful! he came and hugged me LOL In the mean time Dave got the chain saw out and cute down the post at the ground LOL

Oh and it is ok to laugh I have been since last night! LOL

Dave has been busy fixing some of the things that are wrong mantince wise. It is 32 years old so had some issues. pretty soon i will be good as new!

We have a coat closet in the bathroom. We don't usually take things that need to be hung so he is going to put shelves in onside for me then the other side we will use for a dirty clothes bin so it is out of the way.

I have to say it is sooooooooooo NICE not to have to use the public restrooms! it will come in really handy when we camp at a site with vaulted toilets. you know the ones, the whole in the ground they pump out once a week! Got to love it when the hill in the hole is almost to the top! LOL yuck!

we have one more leak to fix and we will be able to use water when ever we want! LOL right now we have to put it in our holding tank and turn the pump on only when we use it to keep from flooding the trailer LOL but as soon as we get that fixed we can use hook ups at the parks for our water.

Travel Travel Travel!

So Dave's sabbatical started last Monday. We headed out to camping that Wednesday.

We headed to the Southern Oregon Coast with Shannon and family. My boys had commitments so could not go with us. Grandma and Grandpa came to stay with them. Oh the humiliation of it all! My boys where left with baby sitters! LOL Oh well they go over it.

The battery in my camera went out the second day in camp, no charger LOL oops! brought the back pack for my lenses and things, but usually keep my charger in my laptop case as I'm hardly with out it. OPPPS I left the lap top home for the oldest to use since his computer is not liking the heat. We run in to town to get a disposable Battery for it. I had gotten one for my old Nikon, but just my luck the only big store in town doesn't carry them for my model. Instead we purchased a point and shoot LOL I have been wanting one for a while any way to toss in my bag and have on me all the time.

On the first day of outings we found it WAY to windy to play on the beach. Ever been sand blasted before??? yeah well stand on the coast in 20 to 30 mile an hour winds! LOL not a fun thing!

We headed south from there and ended up in Reedsport at the Umpqua Discovery Center it closed at 5 and we got there at 4:30. So we decided we would just look around the gift shop. One of the employees says she is willing to stay late so we could go threw. I thought that was very nice of her! so we rushed threw a bit so as not to make her stay any longer then needed. This was not hard when you have a preschooler and toddler along LOL No pictures from here as they don't allow photo's.

The Next day we headed out to the West Coast Game Park Safari. The kids had a blast! even the bIg kids like the Daddy type person and the Uncle Type person LOL Sometimes it is as much fun to watch the dads with the kids as it is to watch the kids. Dads seem to always turn right back in to kids when doing something like this. After we left there we hit the Dean Creek Elk viewing area. A very cool place protected and Elk hang out in.

The day we headed home We hit the Oregon Coast Aquarium Again the kids and Adult Males in our group had a blast. Not to say us women folk didn't have fun, it was just different then watching the kids and men. LOL

We hit McDonald's with a play area so the kids could run off the last of their energy and then headed home. While a lunch Dave got a call from the gal doing his job while on sabbatical and she had an issue so we stopped in at work before getting home LOL

We leave next sunday for our next trip get home the fallowing Friday have a week home then off to Yellowstone for 10 days.

So as you can see I may not be keeping up on others blogs as i'm always unpacking or packing LOL

Maiden Voyage

So we will be taking the new trailer out for its Maiden Voyage this weekend. I have been sewing new cushion covers all week. OK OK so I only got 3 done! LOL but the lent from working with the fabric and the foam get to my lungs so I have to stop often to get away from it!

We had to order new cushions for the big bed as they had mildewed EWWWWWWWWWW. They are not here yet, so we may have to try and fit the air mattress on the big and little bed next to each other LOL

Dave hooked the water up last night and all works WOOHOOO so we have electric and water! The Hot water heater had a leak but it was an easy fix with some plumbers tape. The intake for the water leaks were you attach the hose so dave is going to stop on the way home and pick up new peaces for that and we will be good to go!

OH and the best part, the toilet works WOOHOOO! no more public restrooms! Well the boys will be made to use the public rest room for certain things! LOL I don't want to sit in the trailer after they stink it up! LOL

The only thing we are not sure about so far is the Fridge. I'm hopping when we get it on level ground it will work. But if not I can live with a cooler LOL

So by the time I'm done covering all the cushions I will never want to sew again! I have the 4 for the dinning set, and the 3 we have on order to go. I will also be making 6 little pillows out of the diffrent fabrics to pull it all together! UGGGG I hate sewing! LOL Nothing is perfect but it is all usable LOL that's the important part LOL

I will be doing that back board too. but what an improvement! LOL the phone photo dosen't show the color well but it is kind of a tan color.

So Wish us luck! LOL We will be headed out Friday night, then go to boot camp on Saturday to cook breakfast and lunch for Graduation day.

They have bunks for us to stay in but we decided we would be much more comfortable in our trailer LOL so i found a camp site not to far away so we can go back and forth.

OK off to get things done. So I can spend the day packing the trailer. I need to dig out all my camping stuff and put it away in the trailer! It is going to be so nice not to have to dig it out every time now it will just be there! WOOHOOO!

Jesse and Levi came home Friday night. Levi went back 12 hours later and Jesse this am. ( I think Jesse wanted to see his Girlfriend LOL). Shannon and Scott picked up the Z's yesterday afternoon. So we are Officially childless again!

WOOHOOOO I can run through the house naked if i want! Sorry for the visual LOL

I'm going to try and get the Trailer all cleaned up and ready to go by Friday. We will be working at the boot camp on Saturday and Sunday for Graduation. So we are thinking about just finding a camp site near there and going down Friday night so we don't have to get up and travel so early on Saturday morning.

I ordered some tan colored Velcro to go with the tan twill I got to make seat covers out of. Shannon and I both thought Velcro would work best we can take the covers off and wash them easily and we don't have to sew zippers in LOL ( i'm not a big sewer! LOL )

She has her curtains and covers all done for their trailer. I only have the curtains done. I'm so slow lol

I will work on the cushions this week. The 70's stuff has got to go! LOL For those of you that don't know, we bought a 1976 Fleetwood Prowler. It needs a little work but over all in pretty good shape! So I have made new curtains and am going to cover over that 70's ugly stuff LOL I'm going with earth tones.

I will have to take photo's of the curtains after Levi gets back as he still has my camera LOL

WOW it made it up to 82 today! Not my idea of enjoyable but for most people around here it seems to be! LOL 65 is just about right for me! LOL

So Dave filled the little wading pool up this am. I think Shannon gave it to me the summer after Zach was born so like 4 or so years ago and it is still in working order! I do think now that both Zach and Zoie are bigger we may need to get a bigger one LOL

Anyway they had a ton of fun in it today doing cannon balls! LOL

( sorry for the quality! LOL Levi has my camera off at boot camp. )

They also did this chase each other in a circle thing LOL giggling the whole time LOL

Back to the mid 70's tomorrow! WOOHOOO! LOL

Yep by a 4 year old! I have Zach and Zoie for a few days so their mom and dad could go out of town to celebrate their anniversary.

Shannon brought over their Wii for us to use while they were gone. Ummm Yeah Zachary age 4.5 Whooped my butt big time! Only reason I was not dead last on Mario Kart is because Zoie had a controller and racer but was more interested in playing with toys! LOL

Oh but I did win the Golf thing over Dave and Zach! Dave won one round of Bowling and Zach the other! LOL

I just ordered one, the day before yesterday I can't wait for it to get here! I already have a "want" game list a mile long! LOL

Dave grew up league bowling so he was excited to try out the bowling game! He actually enjoyed it and is looking forward to the system getting here. He is not usually a big game player.

Hopefully it will bring many hours of family fun!

I know I got quit the work out today, I think I may be a bit soar tomorrow LOL but it was fun! HMMM wonder if i can use this as my exercise ?? what do you think??? Think my doctors would buy it??? hehehhe

Ok off to bed the kids are asleep so I can now go in and read for a bit.

Honestly He was just here to have Cake and Ice cream!!!!!!

So we had Levi's 15th Birthday party today. All went well he made a fortune in cash! ( yes my kids are so easy! LOL)

We are getting around to Cake and Ice cream and the Deputy in charge of Search and Rescue Boot camp called to talk to me about when they need me to come help out. I told him if he was on duty to just stop by and have some cake and ice cream with us while we talk about it. ( he works our neighborhood) He said SURE be right there! LOL

So now a cop car is parked out side my house. No real big deal the neighbors know that the boys are in Search and Rescue and do so through the Sheriffs office. BUTTTTTTTT

The owners of the house are planning on doing a drive by to check out the property today! Guess who drove by while the cop car was out front! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHh. So Dave e-mailed the property manager really quick to explain what was going on so lets home they don't think we are trouble makers! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh

Honestly Owner People he was here as a friend not a Deputy on a call!

Update on the boys

Levi Is off on a camping trip with is class. They had fun yesterday then today they will do some sort of community service thing. Not sure what it is. They are staying at the coast, one of the teachers owns a beach house. Wish one of my teachers had a beach house and brought kids along for a camping trip! LOL He will get back just before the Welcome BBQ for the incoming students for next year and we will stick around to help out with that.

Jesse went in Tuesday after noon and singed up for his first semester college courses. It is officially he will be going to college as a Junior! He is pretty excited about it! It will be way more work then the average Junior in High school does, But he will be 2 years ahead of the game when he graduates. He will have his diploma and 2 years of college under his belt!

Levi is putting some thought in to this program as well! I think it would be wonderful opportunity! 2 years of college paid for by the school district!

They will have a leg up if they decide to go to College after High school or if they join the military or even just getting a job they will have a leg up!

There are only 150 kids in this program. That really is a small portion of the school district.

I use this nifty little web site called Sitemeter I stick their HTML code on my blog and website and they monitor the comings and goings of my site. I get to see where people are coming from how they got there (ie. what web site they linked from, or search engine

It is fun to see how many people visit me, and sometimes I can figure out who it is by their Location.

Medferd means my step mom -) Atlanta usually means Otto a photographer with a really cool style and Unique look at Decaying Urban buildings, and so on.
